Privacy Policy

How Meds&More collects, uses, and protects personal and health-related information when you shop with us.

This Privacy Policy explains how Meds&More (“we”, “us”, “our”) processes personal information when you use our website, place orders, upload prescriptions, or contact support. It is an operational notice for our pharmacy ecommerce service and should be read with our Terms of Use and Prescription Policy.

Effective date: 08 August 2026

1. Who we are

Meds&More operates an online pharmacy storefront that may supply over-the-counter products, wellness items, and prescription medicines after pharmacist review of a valid prescription, where applicable. Confirmed business and licence details are published on our Licence Information page and in public contact records — we do not list unverified licence numbers in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:

  • Account & identity data — name, email, phone number, login credentials, and profile details.
  • Order & delivery data — cart contents, billing/shipping addresses, pincode, payment status references, and fulfilment updates.
  • Patient & prescription data — patient name/age/gender (as provided), uploaded prescription images/PDFs, and pharmacist review notes needed to assess supply eligibility.
  • Health-related context — limited information incidental to a prescription or order (for example, medicine names and dosages on an Rx). We treat this as sensitive and restrict access to authorised pharmacy and support staff.
  • Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP or selected delivery pincode, and cookies/similar technologies.
  • Support communications — messages, call notes, and attachments you send to customer support or the grievance channel.

3. Why we use your information

We process personal data to:

  • create and manage your account;
  • process orders, payments, invoices, and delivery;
  • enable pharmacist review of prescriptions before dispensing prescription medicines;
  • communicate order status, delivery attempts, and service notices;
  • prevent fraud, misuse, and unauthorised access;
  • improve site performance, catalogue clarity, and customer support;
  • meet legal, regulatory, tax, and pharmacy record-keeping obligations in India.

We do not use prescription images for unrelated marketing.

4. Prescription and health data

Prescription and related health information is processed only for pharmacy fulfilment, counselling where appropriate, regulatory compliance, and dispute resolution. Access is limited on a need-to-know basis. Uploading a prescription does not guarantee approval or supply.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies for security, session continuity, cart, and checkout. We may use limited analytics or preference cookies to understand storefront performance. Where optional cookies are used, you can manage browser settings; blocking essential cookies may prevent checkout or account features from working correctly.

6. Sharing of information

We may share data with:

  • payment processors and banks for transaction completion;
  • logistics and courier partners for delivery;
  • licensed pharmacy fulfilment partners or pharmacists engaged for review and dispensing, where applicable;
  • IT, hosting, SMS/email, and customer-support service providers under confidentiality obligations;
  • regulators, courts, or law-enforcement agencies when required by applicable law;
  • professional advisers (legal, audit) under appropriate confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal information.

7. Retention

We retain account, order, and pharmacy-related records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal/regulatory retention requirements (including drug and prescription record rules that may apply). Support tickets are retained for a reasonable period to resolve issues and improve service quality. When retention is no longer required, we delete or anonymise data where practicable.

8. Security

We apply administrative, technical, and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of pharmacy and account data, including access controls for prescription files. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please keep your login credentials confidential.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, you may request access, correction, or deletion of certain personal data, or raise concerns about processing. Account profile details can often be updated after sign-in. Some pharmacy and transaction records must be retained even if you close your account. To exercise a request, contact us using the details below and include enough information for us to verify your identity.

10. Children

Our storefront is intended for adults capable of creating an account and placing lawful orders. Prescription orders for minors should be placed by a parent/guardian or authorised caregiver with a valid prescription for the patient named on the Rx.

11. Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date on this page reflects the latest CMS publication. Material changes will be reflected on this page; continued use after an update constitutes notice of the revised policy for operational purposes.
